A group of soldiers stood in a loose circle, their voices a mix of excitement and nerves. An older, more seasoned soldier offered words of wisdom as they exchanged hopes and fears, forming bonds that would carry them through the journey ahead.
I had a little hiccup which led to some of the apps delivering the ebook on April 2nd. I really enjoyed writing this story and I hope you’ll enjoy reading it. The other day, when the snow began falling gently where I live (before the snowstorm), it reminded me of the scene in the story when the first snow fell on the rain planet. It only snows every 25 years so it’s always a special event. I’m glad we have winters here. When the earth is covered in a blanket of white, it’s really breathtaking.
